AN INTEGRATED SOLUTION
SODENA's solution:
â— A PC radar which digitises a RADAR image and makes it available on the Ethernet network. It enables the automatic detection of radar objects.

â— A control PC which manages the reception of position, heading and speed information from friend vessels, the definition of the guarding zones (referenced polygons, circles) and which triggers alarms when an unknown vessel enters the guarding zone

PC Radar:
The digitizing of a radar signal is provided with a versatile interface (which can be fitted to almost any radar), linked to a standard PC. The PC Radar software manages the reception of commands coming from the control system and the transmission of digital radar images to the control system.
PC Radar also acquires the heading given by the gyro and the transmission of this data to the control PC.

The Control PC:
Based on GECDIS software, the control PC synthesizes PC Radar and Position Report information allowing to control remotely the radar digitising. The geographical zones to be monitored and the alarms are localized on this system.
Position Report: Up to 100 position reports can be managed in less than 2 seconds on a unique VHF frequency.

Additional features:
- AIS Connection: will allow to view vessels equipped with this system (compulsory on all Solas vessels), on the same simulated screen, with their ID, speed and heading.
- Inmarsat C Connection : will alllow to receive the surface position or positions report from the vessels which are not located in the zone.
- Portable OBT: will allow to provide temporary equipment to vessels operating in the zone.
- Layer of Oil Tracking: staging buoys acquired with standard C or HF buoys.
- Meteorological synthesis: reception and display of meteorological charts.
